The form widget basically is where the members write their status whenever they want to post something. This widget is very important as it enhances member interaction or engagement within the site wide activity. Whenever a member wants to update something in their profile, this is the main widget used for that purpose. It comes with a couple of sections first is the form container, avatar, text area, post opinion, post button and clear button. All these sections can be styled according to your preference.
Note: This widget is available only when building your Site-Wide activity page.
Styling Form Sections
Form Container
The form container basically holds all other items in the form widget.
You can set various styling aspects to the form such as the background, box shadow, border stylings and padding.
Avatar
The avatar in this case displays the member’s profile picture.
Here you can specify the box shadow and border radius.
Textarea
Within this section, you can alter the box shadow as well as the background color, colors of the text and placeholder, border stylings and padding under different states (Normal and Hover).
Post in Option
This section allows you to set the text typography, a background color, text color, arrow color, box shadow, border styling and padding under different states (Normal and Hover), to the “Post in” option.
Post Button
Here you can specify the text typography of the button text, background, color, box shadow, border styling and padding under different states (Normal and Hover).
Cancel Button
On this section, you can set the text typography of the button text, background, color, box shadow, border styling and padding under different states (Normal and Hover).
